When I realized what was happening, that a team of supervillains was forming, I got pretty excited. Its probably not the team I would have chosen, but at least they brought back the Clam. The other returning villains were the Weed, Half-Ape, Computerhead, and Disco Mummy. Apparently my viewing order is wrong because the Disco Mummy episode is later on, and boy am I in for a treat. Solex, a new baddie, was also along as the ringleader. But when the other villains refused to cooperate, Solex busted their crimes forcing them to team with Plastic Man... don't worry, it doesn't really make sense. I have to give high praise to the series for finally bringing back a villain, and extra praise for the team-up I have been clamoring for. Those aspects made this a standout episode in a series that is growing awfully stale.

I loved the "Plastic Man" series of cartoons. I have the entire DVD set. My favorite episode was the "Maniacle Computerhead," which was redundently for personal reasons of my own, but also I loved the idea loitering behind the "face." It was in 1978, a year BEFORE this show's airing, I was eleven years old, and created a character strikingly smiliar; even the FACE, but it was softer and, of course, gentle, and the rest of the body looked nothing like this. However, getting back to the show of good 'ol PLAS, I just loved the wackieness behind each episode, and altough some of the episodes were rediculous, like "Carrot Man," for instance, some others like COMPUTERHEAD rocked, especially when he wanted to transform the Asian Doctor of Technology into a computer "HEAD' like him, in order to keep him properly maintained. COOL-I ALWAYS THOUGHT, EVEN THEN, AS I DO NOW, "THIS WOULD ROCK!"-being turned into a walking super computer-like my own character loitering in one of my many published books.
