Doing his best to steal Christmas, Mr. Freeze dressed as Santa stole a diamond star from the Gotham City Christmas tree. Turns out a reindeer driven sleigh is not the best getaway vehicle - though it works when only being pursued by dogsled.
I will give this a pass since it was a Christmas themed episode, since they are usually free from the rules that normally apply to a TV series. But Gotham was really asking for trouble by decorating their city with priceless ornaments in the first place.
