I always loved this one as a kid. I loved how the Legion of Doom was able to trick the Super Friends into using their own powers to destroy the Earth. And I still love it.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Animal Man: Bank Robbery

Breaking from the tradition of the previous animated shorts, Animal Man actually split the one-minute running time of DC Nation shorts into two separate adventures. The first of these shorts is particularly notable as it featured the very first onscreen appearance by Animal Man. I loved the style of these shorts and the humorous tone of Animal Man's fixation on a threatened mouse in the middle of a bank robbery. I also loved seeing Captain Cold as well as the Animal Man theme which announced the hero.Admittedly, there was not a lot of substance, but its hard not to love this first effort.

Spotlight on Captain Cold

Since 1957 Captain Cold has attempted to put the Scarlet Speedster on ice. Despite his Captain's rank, Cold has never reached the levels of popularity or recognition of the Batman's civilian foe Mr. Freeze - for whom he is frequently mistaken.

Smallville is Doomed When a Certain Legion Comes to Town

Thanks to Kryptonsite for this nice screen capture from the final two episodes of Smallville. The picture shows members of the Legion of Doom plotting around a table including Solomon Grundy, Dark Archer, Roulette, Black Manta, Captain Cold, and Metallo. Its awesome to see Black Manta in particular in live action. The dude deserves his own spin-off. Oh, and of course thats Toyman on the monitor.
