"What a nutburger" Jimmy Olson gets the line of the day! So, the villain Bonechill kinda had a bit of a Solomon Grundy thing going for him coupled with the ability to reanimate mummies. Its been a while since a good mummy fight and so that was a nice perk. In fact, in addition to his fun design, Bonechill had the ability to bring imagination (with a penchant for Poe) to life resulting in some interesting baddies including an easily defeatable grasshopper-man. With just a few episodes of this series to go, this seems to be about the best I can reasonably hope for.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - A Little Something Extra
Even though Black Adam had been reduced to an ash pile, somehow he was still the most likely culprit... His plot wasn't very well thought out though - plant a fake story in the newspaper and then make a river explode. Sure... The highlight of course had to be the mummy-ghosts. I always love me a mummy. Though the oozing lava men were also a bit of fun. I am pretty mixed on the Mxyzptlkian defeat of Adam. While it was fun seeing him tricked into saying Shazam, he is not the sharpest tack in the box. Both tricks were awfully feeble. I also don't get why this time he was thrust back in time. I guess that's what you get when dealing with magic.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Mummy Madness
An evil mummy was thwarted by Baby Plas using him as a yo-yo. After thousands of years of waiting, you would think the mummy could last more than a minute against an annoying baby. At least the episode had a mummy. For that alone, I will say it was one of the series best.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Plastic Mummy Meets Disco Mummy
After much waiting its the long anticipated Disco Mummy! The Disco Mummy was quite a character, driving a Mummy-mobile with a mummy dog and falling in love with Plas. Of course, real love doesn't make people change and Disco Mummy insisted on making Plas into a Mummy, so perhaps it was just infatuation.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Mummy of Nazca
"With the strength of a thousand daddies," the Mummy proved more than a match for form of a gorilla but not for the combined force of the Super Friends.Well, actually, they never really stopped the mummy, in the end he rode a rocket ship back to his home planet... really.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Mummy Strikes

Original Airdate: February 19, 1943
King Tush's eternal rest was disturbed and so his mummified guards went nuts. For no extra charge there was a nice history lesson using still shots of hieroglyphics.
Best Part: Literally, the only redeeming part of this episode was the inclusion of mummies... especially when the title implied just a single mummy. Plural mummies was a definite value added benefit.
Worst Part: This was really poorly done. Superman showed up for maybe 15 seconds of screen time, pushed a mummy once, and the roof caved in. The end. Way to go Superman.
