Super History of Superman: Superman: Doomsday (2007)

After the abysmal Superman: Brainiac Attacks the year previous, Superman: Doomsday had something to prove. Not only was this the Man of Steel's shot at redemption, but the movie ushered in the modern wave of DC's direct to video productions. The Toyman, Winslow Schott, first appeared in Action Comics #64 in 1943 using toy themed devices to perpetrate his crimes. He has since plagued Superman with his antics and has spawned a few imitators along the way.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Toys of Doom

The Toyman unleashed killer tops and calliopes only to be stopped by Superman.
