Super Best Friends Forever set a high bar for the DC Nation shorts by introducing a new animation style and tone to the genre. Even though these shorts were arguably aimed at girls, there was plenty to like for everyone. The trio of Supergirl, Batgirl, and Wonder Girl were all here, but the focus was on the honorable Wonder Girl (making her first onscreen appearance in 5 decades). As far as I am concerned though, the high energy, burrito craving Batgirl stole the show.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Doctor Fright
Perhaps Scarecrow was unavailable, but FEAR not, Dr. Fright had a plan for world peace by making people too scared to commit crime. At least he meant well. After overcoming his fears of heights and pussycats, Superman gave
Fright a dose of his own medicine, literally. Its just a shame the
villain hadn't been named Dr. Friendship. He may have chosen a different
career path.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Space Emergency
The episode marked the first guest appearance by the Hawks which also served as the onscreen debut of Hawkgirl or Hawkwoman if you prefer. Too bad she was practically useless. There really wasn't much to this adventure. The out of nowhere meteor
shower was unnecessary and using the Hawkship to deflect the meteors
didn't really seem like a good idea. And why did the Hawkship look like
a piece of junk? Having said all that, the Friends did get the job done
and I guess that's what counts.

Onscreen History of Deadshot
Making his first appearance in Batman #59, Deadshot has since appeared as an assassin member of the Suicide Squad, Secret Six, and Checkmate. Lets just say the guy has good aim and he is next targetting the live action Arrow series and hoping that will launch him into mainstream villainy.
Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Magic (Breaking Board)
Sorry A-Man, but this is a pretty lousy trick. First there was no optical illusion at all. Second, this should really just be a physics lesson about wind resistance. Third, the "trick" is so non specific, I can't imagine a kid could easily reproduce it based on this video lesson. Maybe Aquaman should stick with talking to fish and leave magic to the pros.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - De-Coder (Freezing)
Man I hate these segments. That orange shirted kid was particularly annoying. I just don't understand what the point of the de-coder segments was. Yes, there was some freezing in the episode, whats the big deal. Or if a kid actually pieced together the clues, what did he win? NOTHING! Why even bother to try?
