As far as the shorts go, the biggest problem here was (ironically) that it was too short. Obviously, this was just the first chapter in a series of Sword of the Atom shorts which ended with a "To Be Continued" tag, so it really shouldn't be judged too hard on its own - even though it was a decent introduction to the series. I am looking forward to the next episodes, but I also am remaining hopeful that this stands apart from the Batman: The Brave and the Bold episode of the same name. So far, I don't feel this series is justified since the other just came out the previous year with a similar animation style. The Hawkman cameo was a nice nod and hopefully the Winged Wonder has his own batch of shorts in the works.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Battle at the Earth's Core
This was a pretty annoying episode where everyone inexplicably forgot they had powers. Rather than flying away from trouble, The Wonder Twins opted for a polar bear powered sled ending up stuck in a tar pit.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Invasion of the Fearians
I always loved this one as a kid. I loved how the Legion of Doom was able to trick the Super Friends into using their own powers to destroy the Earth. And I still love it.

Super History of Superman: Superman Serial (1948)
In 1948, Superman made his live action debut in a series of 15 serials running over 4 hours. This serial told Superman's origin of escaping the doomed planet Krypton and being raised as Clark Kent on a farm. After the death of the farm couple who raised him, Clark joined the Daily Planet to be close to the news. As Superman he responded to emergencies including the plot of the serial's central villain, the Spider Lady.
Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Demons of Exxor
You loved the Wonder Twins, what about Wonder Planet? Apparently, everyone on Exxor not only has the same barber as Zan and Jayna, but they wear the same outfit. After all its hard to beat the practicality of a high collared purple jumpsuit. Unfortunately, they seem to lack the same shape changing ability as the twins, which means only Zan can be an "ice giant." Of course, even though ice giant sounds like a much better form than "bucket of water" it proved about as effective.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Wanted: The Super Friends
After a quick introduction to the evil Legion, the diabolical plan was put into place - to turn all humans into Bizarros and Cheetahs, wait, WHAT!? That is not only a terrible plan but it makes no sense.

First Look at Brainiac and Superman: Unbound
The sneak peek of the next next DC animated feature, Superman: Unbound, has leaked and can be peeked in a sneak. This feature will be released in June as a tie in with the theatrical release of The Man of Steel.
Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Rokan: Enemy From Space
As if the invasion of an Kryptonian dinosaur wasn't bad enough, the beasts laid eggs all over the earth that began to hatch. And wouldn't you know it that an ice gondola proved ineffective. This really wasn't a very memorable or enjoyable episode. The menace was pretty lame and the adventure dragged on quite a bit. Had this been part of the previous season, it would have been one of the weakest of the main events. I also noticed that Aquaman seems to have a new voice and a wussier attitude that sadly had him the laughing stock of the League for years to follow.
