Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Deadman: Deadman Date

Deadman continues to be charming in his second outing. I love the transition from black white and gloomy to vivid and colorful as Deadman possesses those around him. Keep 'em coming.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - P.O.V.

As far as the gangster episodes of the series go, this was one of the better ones with a clever hook which featured three of Gotham's finest cops giving their own version of events.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Appointment in Crime Alley

The episode played as a day in the life of Batman as he encountered various problems in the slums. This is another one where even though I didn't love it, I can't be too critical. It's just not my cup of tea, but its certainly not bad.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Be a Clown

While it may not be one of the series worst episodes, I think this may be the worst episode in which the Joker is the primary villain. This was the first episode to feature a returning villain, and after the strong debut in Joker's Favor its a shame that this tale fell so flat.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Nothing To Fear

To me, Scarecrow is one of the most perfect villains for Batman, certainly much better than the more recognized Penguin. Batman Begins made the perfect case for the villain. Like Batman, both characters thrive on inflicting and manipulating fear in others. In this BTAS debut for Scarecrow, the underrated villain was able to find some cracks in the previously invulnerable Batman and we got solid look at the motivations and fears of the Dark Knight.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Pretty Poison

Another episode, another debut of a classic Batman rogue. Poison Ivy was introduced to comics in the 1960's but it was the animated series that finally acquainted her with the masses. And unfortunately, like Mr. Freeze (who also starred with her in Batman and Robin) it would sort of be all down hill from here.
