Space Ghost and Batman Join Forces!
UPDATE 14 October 2011
It was on tonight in the US and was still awesome!
------
From Coast to Coast to Gotham City, Space Ghost has had an adventurous career which will soon see him teaming up with the Caped Crusader in the upcoming episode Bold Beginnings! of Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The two joined forces against the classic Space Ghost villain Creature King along with many of the King's creatures who appeared in the villain's original outing. To be honest, this was a team-up I never saw coming.
The Space Ghost character was created in the 1960's by Hanna-Barbera and starred along with teen sidekicks Jan and Jace as well as Blip the space monkey in a Space Ghost cartoon. In the 1980's SG returned to TV in the Space Stars series. In the 90's Space Ghost found new popularity on his parody talk show Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.
In 2005, DC comics published a serious take on Space Ghost in a mini-series. However, even though the comic was published by DC, there was no connection to the DC universe. So, as far as I know (which could be incorrect) this is the first interaction between Space Ghost of the DC comics multiverse. Historic! Welcome Space Ghost and enjoy your stay.

Watch the Justice League: Doom Trailer Now!
As the release of Batman: Year One looms, the trailer for DC's next movie, Justice League: Doom is now upon us. Watch it below:
Spotlight on Green Lantern
In honor of the live-action Green Lantern movie hitting shelves on DVD and Blu-Ray today (in an extended version no less) I thought it appropriate to revisit and update the onscreen history of the many Emerald Knights bearing the name of Green Lantern. Since the original posting in April of 2009, GL has been quite busy, and it looks like even with a few hiccups along the way, the Green one was a bright future in store.
Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Team of Terror
Satana of Quanta and Yimfo? a "dwarf mute" alien arrive on Earth and start commanding some pink plastic guy named Plasto attack. Enter Warlock! Somehow, Satana gave Warlock's ruby kryptonite powers. Part 1 ended with Superman grappling over revealing his identity or letting Lois die. Unfortunately that let the Warlock attack him with his kryptonite laser. As if that wasn't enough he also got attacked by Plasto in the form of a giant snake which somehow negated the kryptonite allowing Superman to escape.

The Incredible Hulk: Pilot (1977) - Discount Review
Heroes: The Incredible Hulk
Villains: Tabloid reporter Jack McGee
Diabolical Schemes: Trying to get to the bottom of the mysterious Hulk sighting, Jack McGee ambushed David Banner and lab-mate Elaina accidentally blowing up the lab, killing Elaina and giving Dave an excuse to play dead as he hit the road for 82 episodes.
Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Can a Luthor Change His Spots?
Can't a guy get a second chance? Lex claimed to reform and took a job as a science editor for the Daily Planet, but Jimmy didn't buy it. After snooping around, Jimmy got zapped by one of Lexy's experiments. Jimmy continued to spy on Lex, but Superman got distracted when Lois called him from a submarine where she was trapped under the polar ice cap in a whirlpool. In the meantime, Jimmy accidentally locked Perry White in a bank vault. Oops. The first part ended on a cliffhanger of Superman having to save both Perry and Lois in less than 5 minutes. This train-wreck of an episode really unraveled in part 2 when Lex finally revealed that he hadn't really reformed.

The Justice League: A Super Friendly Tour - A Brave, Bold JLI
While previous animated series had chosen to focus on the Justice League
of America, or simply the Justice League, Batman: The Brave and the
Bold in its typical fashion gave preference to the underdog. Although
both the Justice League of America and Justice Society appeared in the series, the
Justice League International was the premier super team with which this
Batman chose to associate.
Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Luthor's Lethal Laser
At this point I am starting to empathize with the show creators. How many 6 minute tales can you really tell before running out of ideas. Obviously, less than 53. The series decided to double-up segments for the third season. Eight new stories consisting of two-part segments were made. Off we go...

Catwoman Clip Reveals More Than the Cats Pajamas
First off, do cats really wear pajamas? Or is that the joke, that a cat would only wear the finest of pajamas? Either way, the Catwoman in the upcoming, and presumably last, DC Showcase Short does not appear to be overly concerned about what she wears. I realize this clip is out of context, but this certainly feels a little over the top. Whats that I hear about an upcoming Starfire short? Watch the clip for yourself below.
Onscreen History of Tawky Tawny
Tawky Tawny is one of the stranger characters in comics and his onscreen interpretations have been quite varied. Tawny the Tiger made his debut in Captain Marvel Adventures #79 in 1947. Although he began as a stuffed tiger doll, he was magically turned into an actual tiger to help the Marvel family. The tiger was later given an anthropomorphizing serum which allowed him to talk and wear suits.
