When the short was first announced, it was a bit disappointing that some of the previously used material from the animated MAD series was going to be repurposed for DC Nation. On the bright side, some of the MAD shorts, like this one, were brilliant an had been tragically overlooked by the core superhero audience. Cleverly playing off of the acronym SHAZAM! (wisdom of Solomon, strength of Hercules, etc.) an attempt was made to describe the Shazamwich... which was utterly disgusting. Flavor of Sausage, texture of Ham, nutrients of Apples, chalkiness of Zinc, the Apples mentioned earlier, calcium of Milk, heartiness of Meatloaf (two Ms?), color of White bread, stickiness of Ice pops, festiveness of Cake, and convenience of a Hot pocket. Maybe its just my Achilles heel for sandwiches, but this was another gem.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - De-Coder (Meteor)
I would have done this with a picture of a steak + Eeyore (saying thanks for noticing me), but I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat, and some of those ways avoid copyright infringement.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Day of the Plant Creatures
Seeing the creatures that resembled Swamp Thing was exciting enough, but Swamp Chickens were the icing on the cake. This episode is a good lesson for why you really shouldn't mess around with meteors. Lesson learned.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The New Adventures of the Wonder Twins: Drag Race
Its worth pointing out that in this parody, the outlandish lip action line was an exact quote from the original. In fact, more was edited out from the original than added in. Talk about an easy target. I particularly enjoyed the jokes about the guardrail-less slippery ice bridge. Oh those Wonder Twins.

Onscreen History of Brainiac
While not quite his oldest foe, the android Brainiac has been plaguing the Man of Steel for over 50 years, first appearing in Action Comics #242 way back in 1958. And yet, Brainy has had a hard time coming into his own and stepping out of the shadow of Lex Luthor. Nevertheless, Brainiac has an awfully impressive resume of his own. Shall we proceed?

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Drag Race
"Looks like your hole in one is less wrist action and more lip action." Huh? Keep in mind once again, this was not supposed to be a parody, but it sure made itself easy to lampoon.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Safety (Skateboarding)
Remember kids, skateboards can be killers. You know what is much safer? Lassoing someone in the middle of a street from a moving car.
