Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Gulliver's Gigantic Goof

This episode holds a very special place in my heart. Somehow it found its way into the rerun rotation when I was a kid, and I still remember being introduced to Green Arrow for the first time. I always hoped he would turn up again, but this was his one and only Super Friends showing. In fact, even though his sidekick Speedy had appeared in the Filmation Teen Titans series, this was Green Arrows first onscreen appearance.

An Early Review of Superman vs The Elite

Although early marketing of this movie made it look like an eminent disaster, Superman vs The Elite turned out to be a solid, if slightly schizophrenic effort. Underneath the cartoony veneer, the movie's content and themes were among the most adult so far seen in a DC animated film. Following 13 DC Universe Animated Original Movies ushered in with Superman: Doomsday, The Man of Steel fittingly led the charge in the rebranded next wave of original animated films under the DC Comics Premiere Movie banner.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Mysterious Moles

I wish I were joking, but this adventure began when Wendy and Marvin noticed some big chicken tracks and a tree that they thought may have moved. Sounds like a job for Superman. In the mean time, the other Friends got to cruise down the old Boulevard.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Menace of the White Dwarf

This episode gets props, if for nothing else, for including a supervillian. Even though Raven was a scientist, he was a nice variation from the typical misguided but well meaning antagonist. The episode also had Superman using the expression "Dollars to donuts," and I love donuts.

Onscreen History of Green Lantern Alan Scott

Although he was the first Green Lantern during the Golden Age of comics, first appearing in 1940's All-American Comics #16, it is only recently that Alan Scott has enjoyed the limelight. And with the recent revelation that in DC's new 52, Earth-2 Alan Scott is gay, he is sure to get a whole new level of exposure.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Ultra Beam

This time the villain's sidekick was a dude with pogo shoes and the scheme was to destroy gold reserves. But Super Marv and Wendy were much more concerned about what caused their blackboard to shatter. All the while, Wonder Woman was busy "laying some cable." And is it just me, or was there something wrong with her face in this image?

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Fantastic FRERPs

During the leisurely opening sequence, we were treated to a day on the golf course with all of the Super Friends getting to demonstrate their trick golf shots including an underwater swing by Aquaman. A lost ball led Marvin unto the tracks of King Plasto, a dude with eggs of silly putty AKA (Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Resin Plastic) FRERP that could pretty much turn into anything.
