Vibe is Coming to DC Nation

Before assuming the name Vibe as a sonic shock wave emitting member of the Justice League, Paco Ramone led the Detroit street gang, El Lobos (shouldn't it be Los Lobos?) And while Vibe managed a few small scenes in the Justice League Unlimited series, he may be getting his big break on a just scheduled series of DC Nation shorts beginning on May 5. The first short, named Enter Extreme-O. More details will be posted as they become available.

Lobo Movie is Coming (Again) - Santa Claus Better Watch Out

In the 90's Lobo was DC's counter to the wild success of Wolverine. Its pretty obvious now who won the fight, but for a while there, Lobo was quite the rage. He originally debuted in 1983 in The Omega Men #3. Just yesterday In 2009 it was announced that Lobo was getting his own feature film, and a second chance to be comic's biggest anti-hero. And in 2012, he's getting another shot. For a quick brush up on who Lobo is, lets turn to the Wikipedia:

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Simon the Pieman

"By ginger, it was a snap!" Or so said Simon the Pieman. Wait! Who? This crazy rolling pin wielding baker opened the episode by taking out all of the other Gotham supervillains. In spite of his beginners luck, Simon never made it as a mainstream baddie.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - He Who Swipes the Ice, Goes to the Cooler

The "cool, cruel, Mr. Freeze" appeared in this politically incorrect and uncomfortable adventure in which the "frigid fiend" kidnapped the Maharajah. Hilarity did not ensure.

Beware the Batman has a Trailer

To those who would hurt the innocent, beware the wrath of Batman. I admit, its a nice little tease. The Batmobile looks great in CG, although I am still not won over by the Dark Knight himself. From the glimpse I have seen, I think I prefer the look of the CG tease from the final episode of Brave and the Bold. Still, I am actually looking forward to this new series even though I am still not exactly sure what tone the series is aiming for. Hopefully something dark like Bat-Mite promised. As for the new voice of Batman, it sounds perfect.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Will the Real Robin Please Stand Up?

Long before the real Slim Shady hit the scene, a bleached blond Robin look-alike fell under the tutelage of the Catwoman. But why was it that Catwoman could tell that a maskless dude looked like Robin, but she couldn't tell that Dick Grayson looked kinda like Robin.

Onscreen History of Toyman and Other Toy-Themed Villains

The Toyman, Winslow Schott, first appeared in Action Comics #64 in 1943 using toy themed devices to perpetrate his crimes. He has since plagued Superman with his antics and has spawned a few imitators along the way.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Beware of Living Dolls

What the!? The dolls were alive and they were criminals. And they were made by some freaky-fresh villain made just this show, Dollman.

Announcing Your Guide to the DC Nation Shorts

For the past seven weeks, DC Nation has debuted at least two new animated shorts, a pattern that looks like it will continue for the foreseeable future. If you add in the shorts from the DC Nation sneak peek back in November, 17 shorts have already aired and keeping track of them has begun to be a bit of a challenge... until now. I have created a page dedicated to the DC Nation animated shorts, including a guide to the shorts that have aired (with links to the shorts), the upcoming schedule, available images of unaired but announced shorts, and a list of announced and rumored shorts.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - A Game of Cat and Mouse

Catwoman wanted to steal some crown jewels on display in a castle. But since the jewels were so well guarded, she just stole the whole castle. Somehow, Catwoman was able to hide the whole castle and so despite being an expert detective, Batman had to come up with an elaborate plan to find it.
