Part two of Vibe's debut was step up (to the streets?) from the first. I actually liked the android doppelganger and the play of the name Extrem-O on AMAZO. Oh that Ivo. Like part one, this was a fun experiment... but I think it will hold me over for a while.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Challenge of the Super Friends
The 1977 All New Super Friends revival was a success but the creative team was not done tweaking the show's format. The following year, they struck gold with Challenge of the Super Friends. As in the All New Super Friends Hour, the '78 season ran as an hour long block, but rather than several segments packaged together with public service announcements in between, the new approach just smushed two half hour stand-alone segments together. Syndication would confuse later generations into thinking the two segments were independent series, but they were in fact both originally flown under the Challenge of the Super Friends banner.

Meanwhile on Young Justice - Series Recap
Before tuning into the second half of Young Justice: Invasion this Saturday, check out this nice recap of all the happenings... Heaven knows its been forever since the last new episodes aired.
Watch Batman vs Cops in First Dark Knight Returns Part 2 Clip
Warner Brothers has released the first official clip from the animated Batman: The dark Knight Returns Part 2 which shows Bats giving some cops an old fashioned beat down. The animation and action look amazing and I fully expect this to be at least as good as Part 1, and the first superhero show highlight of 2013.
Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The All-New Super Friends Hour Recap
The All New Super Friends Hour was a massive improvement of the the first effort mostly due to the brisker pace. Rather than one drawn out episode per hour, you got four! You were guaranteed a guest hero and often a super villain rather than a faceless natural disaster. And even though the Wonder Twins were goofy they were still head and shoulders better than Wendy and Marv and Gleek was way better than Wonder Dog.

Super History of Superman: Fleischer / Famous Superman (1941-3)
With Man of Steel set to reintroduce Superman on the big screen, 2013 looks to be a big year for the Last Son of Krypton. It also gives a perfect excuse to revisit Superman's prolific onscreen history which began back in 1941 with a set of 17 theatrically released shorts. The series has long since been in the public domain, but Warner Brothers just recently released restored versions on their YouTube channel and they look fantastic.
Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Health (Pills)
Not sure what flying a kite has to do with sneaking pills from mom's medicine cabinet, but I agree popping pills is not a great idea. Thanks Superman.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Rampage
Once again, animal control may have been just as capable as the Justice League. Then again, that was a large elephant on the loose and I guess white ones are extra dangerous. Green Lantern once again used his ring to materialize vehicles, at least this time they weren't yellow. The elephant was stopped and in his second team-up GL was a total waste. And wouldn't you know it was all the result of a poor baby elephant in peril. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Craft (Rocket)
Looks like fun. Maybe I will have to swing by the store on the way home, either that or invite Wonder Woman over for craft time.
