Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Plastic Man in Superheroes Wear Pajamas

Plas continues to be consistently charming in this latest entry. I don't think Plastic Man would have much of a chance at sustaining his own series in this day an age, but little dose like this is just what the doctor ordered. Hopefully the demon teddy has a chance for revenge in a follow up. I smell the makings of a classic rivalry.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Big Scoop

Time travel? My favorite! The plot centered on a device that could see 1 hour into the future, unfortunately, the scientists who invented it didn't anticipate using it as its own security system. Lexy baby used it to cause all sorts of trouble, but somehow Superman still managed to reclaim his exposed identity thanks to a very lifelike mask.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The First Day of School

While "laying low" on the first day of school, Clark drew a picture of Krypton and flew in front of his class to rescue a guinea pig. He also made introductions to the young, blonde, Lana Lang whom he impressed with super swing pushing. Not exactly, necessary viewing...

Super History of Superman: JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time (2014)

The Man of Steel, although not the main character, was central to the early Target exclusive stealth release JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time. Supes was the inspiration for the 31st century's Legion of Superheroes, and his deletion from history resulted in the paradox remedying deletion of the Justice League. In addition, this movie is notable in edging out Justice League: War in introducing the trunkless new 52 inspired Superman design to animation... well if you don't count his few seconds in the Superman 75th tribute short. In an "Ape-raham Lincoln" like twist (see Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes) the movie ended on a spoiler where the inspirational Kal-El was upstaged by a villainous Luther. To be continued... I hope.

Check back next week for another chapter in The Super History of Superman.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Cybron Strikes

It may not be a superpowered kiss on the moon, but the super suave Superman opened this episode by giving Lois a flying birthday cake celebration at freezing altitudes in jet lanes. Seems the Man of Steel still has a bit to learn about romance. Cake and ice cream was soon interrupted by a flying pyramid. Those are always trouble.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - At the Babysitter's

Why would the Kent's leave Clark with a babysitter when he clearly is a trouble maker? Besides, old people don't have anything to do anyways. Good thing the babysitter was an idiot and didn't think it strange the kid could fly or lift TVs.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - By the Skin of the Dragon's Teeth

This one opened with Lex Luthor buying the Great Wall of China.. so yeah, I had a hard time getting into it. Anyway, one thing led to another an somehow Lex found  treasure buried under the wall including a magic dragon tooth. He later gave it back... just because.
