Trailers for Those Other Iron Man Movies Have Landed

While we wait for the trailer to Iron Man 3, we have been treated to the first peeks at the CG tie in Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United (which coincidentally shares a similarity to today's just announced Lego Batman: DC Heroes Unite) and the anime Iron Man: Rise of Technovore. Lets tackle Heroes United first.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Super Best Friends Forever: Time Waits For No Girl

I adored this one. I love Batgirl and this was a really cute look at her spunky personality and lots of her gadgets. In particular, I loved the iconic pose in front of the moon. It was also great seeing Poison Ivy even if we didn't get to see her get beat up. This set the bar pretty high for the SBFF batch and for my money, this is the best DC Nation short so far...

Onscreen History of Deathstroke the Terminator UPDATED

The mercenary Slade Wilson AKA Deathstroke the Terminator was introduced in 1980 in the pages of The New Teen Titans #2 and has since become one of DC's greatest adversaries. Although initially known simply as the Terminator, the name Deathstroke was introduced to prevent confusion with the Terminator franchise. But terminating is not all he does. Slade is also the proud father of Teen Titan Rose Wilson AKA Ravager.

Superman vs Batman in Dark Knight Returns Part 2 Trailer

MTV has landed the trailer for the upcoming Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 which pits  Batman against the Joker and the Man of Steel. In addition to some thrilling looks at Superman, the trailer offers a peek at the cover art for the Blu-Ray release. Part 1 was good, but this looks amazing. Although the release date was not stated, February is a safe bet.

So, apparently Black Manta did appear on Super Friends prior to his induction into the Legion of Doom. I have no idea why he was just Manta, or why he opted for olive green garb, yet I must admit in any color I like the swagger in his step.

A Third Iron Man Movie Announced for 2013!

Iron Man: Rise of Technovore, and feature length anime has joined Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United, the just announced CG / traditional animation hybrid, and of course, Iron Man 3 for the 2013 release slate. Marvel describes the direct to video film as follows:

I know the Wonder Twins have alternate travel strategies as they did the camel / water bucket in their last appearance but here they were back to the trusty eagle bucket combo before ultimately saving the day with the trusty walrus ice ramp. Now remember kids, NEVER play chicken with a boat and a waterfall. I guess I need to replan my afternoon.
