Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Thunder and Lightning: Clothes Make the Hero

Thunder and Lightning's debut lands solidly in the middle as far as the DC Nation shorts are concerned. It was fun, well animated, and a decent introduction to the premise of the series.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Bad Luck Stroll

So, it looks like the Baby Plas episodes are going to feature the exploits of the baby and Hula Hula and I can't believe I am saying this, but that might actually be an improvement over the Plastic Family series. Say what you want about "bad luck" Hula. At least he is a nice guy. Anyways, I am not expecting too much since this episode had Hula Hula fall off of a construction site with a carton of eggs in order to be saved by the baby. And, at least it was only 3 minutes long.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Fatman and Boy Blubber

Fatman and his sidekick Boy Blubber were a parody of Batman and Robin that appeared during a mini episode of the Freakazoid! series (a follow-up to Animaniacs) in 1995. The duo even had their own theme reminiscent of the 1966 Batman theme. Fatman ended up protecting a fat kid from bullies just so he could steal the kid's sweet bun. I have heard good things about the Freakazoid! series but this really wasn't funny.

Super History of Superman: Smallville (2001-11)

Somebody saaaaaaaaaave me! From 2001-2011 over 218 episodes and 10 seasons we watched Clark Kent grow to embrace his ultimate destiny as Superman. While not all of the elements brought to screen were necessarily completely true to the comics, as an Elseword's tale Smallville was able to hit on most of high points of Superman's mythology with success - at least in most cases. And although the series began with a "no tights, no flights" mantra to maintain a more grounded approach to the character, both rules would eventually be broken.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Plastic Family Recap

Oh my gosh, is it over yet? This series was pretty much horrible - much worse than the Plastic Man series. Not only is it dumb, but Plas is mostly a self-centered jerk. I really don't care to go on and on, but I think its a safe series to skip. For the curious, Mighty Museum Mess is by far the best episode mostly because of its extra absurdity. Otherwise I find very little redeemable in this stinker of a series.

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Rodeo Ruckus

Didn't we already see a snow version of this same episode (and a hillbilly one too actually). Plastic Man won by a very stretchy nose. Ha ha /sarcasm. I get it Plas, you are better at everything than everyone else. You are just so cool and so is your boy. If I just admit that can I get out of ever watching this show again?

Crisis of Infinite Episodes - The Kewpie Doll Caper

Baby Plas, the little cheater, used his stretchies to win mommy a kewpie doll at the carnival. I guess cheating is okay if you are the son of a superhero (incidentally Plastic Man is a reformed criminal himself) Only problem, thieves had stashed diamonds in the doll assuming no one could win one.  When Penny's ill gotten doll got snatched, the family plastic was none to happy - guess stealing is only okay when they do it. After a ride through the tunnel of love, Penny got her stupid doll back. Phew.
