In fact, Wonder Woman was on fire in this episode, also using her invisible jet to invert a hurricane. Wonder Woman, all our hopes are pinned on you and the magic that you do.

 Its true, Plastic Man made his onscreen debut in this very episode. The bad news is that he only appeared for just long enough to pull a mouse out of a hole. Sadder still, that was still the episode's highlight.

One fun way to pass the time during these episodes is to imagine the writers planning how to pad out 45 minutes of running time. "So, we could uh start with Batman playing a bit of pool, then we could spend the next few minutes talking about photosynthesis. Kids love that. That would segway nicely into a description of each Super Friend's patrol route at the museum. That just leaves us 40 more minutes..." Blah, blah, blah.

Onscreen History of Firestorm

Firestorm made his first appearance in 1978's Firestorm, The Nuclear Man #1 in which the super being was the merged form of high school student Ronnie Raymond and Professor Martin Stein. He is basically an alchemist able to transmute inorganic matter from one substance to another and he has quite an impressive look.

Meet the Elite - Three New Superman vs The Elite Clips

 
Three new clips have arrived showing off the members of The Elite that will face off with Superman. I have to say, these looks much better than the last clip that came out. Thank goodness! The movie needs to start building some good buzz and at least these character showcases are a step in the right direction.
