After trudging through 34 mediocre episode of Plastic Man and 26 abominable episodes of Plastic Family and Baby Plas, Super Friends all of a sudden seems like high art. I feel like I just witnessed Michelangelo's painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. And this was some good stuff too.
Bigfoot on his own is almost always a winner (see Plastic Family's star
crossed love story for the counter example) but Bigfoot with super
powers is a grand slam. I am also a sucker for Apache Chief and his super powered Native American friends were an added bonus. The Bat-Goop-Dummy trap was admittedly a little ridiculous as was the reveal that the Bigfoots (Bigfeet?) were aliens. Oh well, at least there were no plastic babies.
