Superman taught us why we never want him to lose control in 2012's Superman vs. The Elite. He taught that same lesson to Manchester Black and his mates.
Say what you want about the story of the movie based on the acclaimed Superman story, What's So Funny About Truth, Justice & the American Way? found in Action Comics #775. While the movie received mixed reviews, the animation designs were fairly controversial. Juxtaposition of a Superman "kiddie cartoon" within the context of the "real world" of the movie did not help.
In the end, the movie was a step or two down from All Star Superman, but still miles better than some of Superman's onscreen lows.
Check back next week for another chapter in The Super History of Superman.
