Crisis of Infinite Episodes - Hurricane Fighters

Before she was breaking Clark's heart only to ride off on a horse on a weekly basis on Smallville, Lana Lang was comic book Clark Kent's girl next door. Sure, at one point she rescued an alien insect and was bestowed with insect like powers calling herself the Insect Queen, but otherwise she was just your average small town babe. Now that I think about it, maybe Lana's whole run in with witchcraft, or becoming a vampire, or gaining superpowers on Smallville were not that out of character. After all gaining the title of "Insect Queen" is pretty wild.

Anyways, in this episode, all our beloved Insect Queen managed to do was to take shelter and worry about Clark when Hurricane Hilda struck. Of course, Supie was just out rescuing ships and inverting the hurricane by spinning fast. That is really an amazing power by the way, spinning fast can result in time travel, grinding African gems into an giant elephant antidote, or redirecting a hurricane. Forget flight, invisibility, or super strength, if only I could spin fast...

Best Part: At least flipping the tornado funnel upside down in Superman III wasn't unprecedented. They were just possibly inspired by this "classic rendition" of the Superman legend.

Worst Part: After the hurricane, Clark's cover for being Superboy was pretending to have hidden in the seal tank the whole time. As Bugs Bunny would say, "What a maroon."
