With Batman: Year One just weeks away, news for DC's next next movie Justice League Doom are beginning to emerge via TV Guide. The League members have been revealed as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Martian Manhunter, and Cyborg and most of the team will be played by voice actors reprising roles of the heroes from various incarnations.
Tim Daly will return as the Man of Steel who most recently played Superman in the Superman / Batman movies. Kevin Conroy returns once again as a fan favorite Batman. Wonder Woman, Flash, and the Martain Manhunter will be played by their respective Justice League series actors Susan Eisenberg, Michael Rosenbaum, and Carl Lumbly but since Hal Jordan did not exist on t hat series (mostly) he will be played by Emerald Knight Nathan Fillion. Cy will be played by Bumper Robinson. Booyah! The inclusion of Cyborg is certainly an attempt to align The JL: Doom team more with the current team in the DCnU Justice League title, though it does make you wonder why not Aquaman instead of J'onn?
The title is based upon the Justice League Tower of Babel story, but obviously the team line-up is different as the original featured the Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, Plastic Man, and Aquaman and did not include Cyborg or Hal. Those changes alone make it questionable whether or not Ra's al Ghul will remain the chief antagonist and the voice cast revealed so far sadly gave no hints. :(
