A decade after Bugs Bunny paid homage to Superman (and the troops) in the 1943 Merrie Melody short, Warner Brother gave Daffy Duck a chance to don the super-suit in the Looney Tunes short Stupor Duck. Like Bugs, Daffy also got the classic bullet / locomotive / tall building intro and also got a scene as his mild mannered alter ego, in this case Cluck Trent. On the other hand, Stupor Duck was a lot dumber than Super-Rabbit - mistakenly interfering when his services were not needed and trying to thwart a fictional villain. The end result was a fairly funny homage to the Man of Steel with the classic comedy of Daffy Duck. I approve.
