Apparently there was a city buried beneath the streets of Metropolis. As it turns out a web-slinging Man-Bat wannabe named Morpheus terrorized the city and so the citizens just paved over the whole city.Wouldn't you know that 100 years later old Morphy was still lurking? For some reason Bat-Brain really hated Superman.
Good thing Superman keeps a spare cardboard box of full of kryptonite in his closet along with his spare costume. This turned out to be a pretty generic episode that did not even really try to make sense. I will give credit where its due... this was more entertaining than Supes taking a driving test.
